I just had a bone scan today. Nothing to it. Can't say the same for the hip. I am 12 weeks postoperative I have had pain in the hip for the last 10 weeks. 24/7. That is why the need for an MRI last Friday and bone scan. Has anyone had these and what was the outcome.
I have pain in my left thigh with that hip replacement done last August. My right hip was replaced this April and is doing fine. I had a nerve conduction test run on Monday and I am due for a bone scan soon. I doubt that either test will show anything. The doctor is also talking about an MRI for my back in case the pain is transferring from there. Again, I have my doubts as the pain is when I'm walking (weight bearing) and not at other times. I have heard mention that scar tissue can cause these symptoms.
