I am due to have Botox injections to try to heal a long standing anal fissure. Has anyone had these and what can I expect afterwards?

It is now 3 months since the Botox injections and unfortunately the fissures have still not healed and I still have a small amount of incontinence. The procedure itself wasn't particularly painful but I had a lot of bruising afterwards and incontinence was a big problem for about 10weeks. It is improving but the fissure is still a problem unfortunately. I currently use Instillagel pre filled syringes to help with the pain.
