I was on them for around 2 months and had absolutely none of these issues for 20 years, I stopped them about three weeks ago and was stuck with severe constipation. After that cleared up I’ve had horribly uncomfortable symptoms.
I’m getting a dull ache in my bowels when I sit down, a constant feeling of my bowels needing to be emptied yet nothing happening and just constant uncomfortable feeling, it only happened after stopping that medication. What could this be and will it resolve itself? My stool is soft so it can’t be constipation, I eat plenty of fibre, drinks 2 litres of water a day and do over 20k steps of exercise. I have even been taking stool softeners just incase, however I still am left with that feeling.
