Hi to all, before all I want to inform you I suffer from anxiety disorder (and small depression) and I am on medication for this (bupropion). Recently 2 weeks ago, and exactly after the end of summer vacations I started having changes in bowel movements , more often to toilet with looser stools , and lower abdominal pain. My psyc said it might be the start of IBS syndrome and put me on amitriptyline. What worries me most is that yesterday after a bm I noticed lots of red small pieces on stool(almost diarrhea),, it must have been tomatoes skins when I scanned ,,,but what's scary when whipped with toilet paper there was a tinny red (like pinhead and red like runny nose), that when squised soft into paper it painted it red!! I think only blood can do this! it's soluble in water. Can food (tomatoe) paint-like the paper.
I ll get an appointment with gastroenterologist for sure .
Fyi, recently I was almost 20 days on antibiotics for rebounding strep throat. Symptoms occurred almost a week later. last night as well I had a bad diarrhea which seemed black to me but it was not on the toilet paper(illusion maybe from the amount of diarrhea in toilet).Anyone relevant experience ??thank you
