Hello currently i don't have much issues that i did 8 months ago with prostatitis or bph. it seems cipro cured a lot of the issue i was going through. id been from the ER to my GP and than urology and was diagnosed with luts with possibility of prostatitis even bph. After my last visit to my doctor and a DRE test my prostate was tender i was put on cipro all burning from my bottom and when I urinated,vanished after 10 days on. My thinking is i have chronic prostatitis but with my psa testing 2 different times weeks apart at 0.53 and 0.63 is that even possible? can you have chronic non bacterial prostatitis with a normal psa? whatever happened all i know is cipro helped something not showing up on over 10 UA tests.
PSA rising with prostitis can be treated with antibiotics or anti inflammatories.
