Brain fog

omg I cant cope, I fear I'm losing my mind, forget words, forget what I'm saying halfway through a conversation, today I thought it was Saturday, its frightening me to death. making mistakes at work. some days I'm ok. some days it's terrible and really frightens me. can anyone relate x

Get this a lot I usually put it down to anxiety with me.
I spend a lot of time thinking about what day it is , then I ask my twenty something children the same and they have to think about it too, I think know worries.
Oh by the way I mean that’s the children’s ages not that I have that amount of bairns, can you imagine!!!.
Try not to worry it’s a being a woman thing multitasking , lots of things to be bothered about at the one time, sit down have a cuppa and relax.

You are not alone my dearie. I feel my brain is not connected to my body and its gone down the drain! I dont remember a flippin thing! My memory is shot to pieces. I forget the simplest words and also forget what I’m saying halfway through a conversation. My concentration is also very poor. Last week I wanted to cash a cheque at my bank and instead of going there, I ended up at the post office wondering what the heck I was doing there! I’m so lucky my work colleagues and superiors understand my situation, otherwise I would have been thrown out of work! I’ve even been to my GP and had my thyroid checked and blood tests. Results came back OK. You are not losing your mind. So many menopausal women are in the same boat. Poor concentration and memory problems are one of the symptoms of menopause. It will soon come to pass.

Darey, thank you! I need to know this brain fog and lack of concentration will end and NEVER come back. This is my 2nd round of Brain fog issues and it sucks!! Thanks so much for the positive vibes.
