Brain MRI scan results

Hi,

I had a brain MRI scan 9th November 2020. This morning I received a letter through the post saying I have a telephone consultation with a member of neurology department.

This letter has come after i was told my GP would be giving me my results after being told that with a quick scan through the report and nothing ‘stuck out like a sore thumb’.

Is this normal practise to be called? (obvs in covid situation).
