Breathing problems and waiting test results

Three questions. I have shortness of breath frequently. Do any of you others feel like you can inhale fine but have trouble emptying your lungs completely? Is this from anxiety. Although I do have a cough and some phlegm. Do have inhalers but they don't seem to be helping

Also, when you are waiting test results, do you patiently wait or do you call in and ask if they have them? I find the waiting so stressful.

I have had health anxiety off and on for many years.

How long ago did you have your tests done ??.

If you have phlem try some deconjestant  I have just got over a cold and have been using a new cough Linctus called Broncho Stop it deals with all types of cough and does work. Give it a try

Your GP may have your Results, give the Practice a call and find out

Thanks. I did call after I read your response. Results are in but I need to wait for my nurse to call me to tell me about them.

Do decongestants work if it's from my allergies/ reactive airways?

Hi. I do know I almost lose my mind waiting on test results . If you find it too hard just call and say you're having anxiety and need to know the results. Most people are understanding.

So I talked to my GP. He claims I have no nodulesbut the technician doing the ultrasound told me I had a number. So I'm confused. He is sending me to an endocrinologist cause my thyroid is swollen which he thinks is from my hashimotos. (A thyroid autoimmune disorder). Says my thyroid functions are normal but my antibodies are up, which is autoimmune. So I guess I have more waiting to do. They may put me on medication to reduce the swelling even if my levels wouldn't indicate needing it.
