Breathlessness is back after take off xanax, anyone can relate to this?
i take xanex and never had a problem with it. i use it for short term crutch when i feel a panic attack coming on. i also use it as an occassional sleep aid, but i dont take xanex everyday. i have long term anxiety meds that i take besides. do you also have long term meds ? there are other meds out there besides xanex that may be better for your particular chemical make up for your body. adavan, kolonopin, valium, etc., may be a better option to explore for you. stay away from caffeine and sugar, and tell your doctor or psychiatrist about your breathlessness. it could be a side affect of the xanex, or it could just be your anxiety working overtime. but only you and your doctor can work that out. mainly try to relax, you are not going to die, and try to keep your mind off of it. easier said than done i know, but you have to try. call your doctor ASAP so you can start feeling some relief. also, stay hydrated, it will flush your system and help the effects of the xanex to wear off quicker if thats the true cause of your symptom.
