I had a bronchoscopy yesterday after several chest infections and being hospitalised twice with pneumonia. I'm 27 non-smoker, otherwise healthy except being overweight. I'm a stay-at-home-mother of two. Please see my discharge letter attached. I know I'll have a follow up and find out more then, but I'd be grateful if anyone could interpret what is says. Is it simply that I've got narrow airway tubes making me more susceptible to infections?
