brown ring around nipple hormone related

Male 36   left nipple has a brown ring around the areola ( teet) 

​   Its like dead skin but its not flaking off and is not painful in any way.   

​  Its a crust and have tried various products but its not shifting, the other is fine.

​   Its not due to chaffing, or rubbing and because I have taken hormone replacement gel ( trostan) for years thinking its a imbalance related issue

​   Theres no lumps or bumps under it or around that area under skin.

​

I'm sure it will be easily treatable, but any crusting should be seen by your Doctor. I am wondering where you get the hormone gel, could that be causing the problem?  Let us know how you get on.

Its trostan hormone testorone gel, and apply it three squirts per shoulder alternating days, any more get to aggressive.
