Hello. Have been having issues on and off for three years now. I get a bruised feeling in right ribs and wondered if it could be gallbladder. Sometimes it is so sore that it hurts to touch it, then, overnight sometimes, it just is gone. I had one hidascan three years ago that showed 14% EF but having just been diagnosed with celiac disease, decided to give gluten free diet a chance to see if CCK production could be reversed and help with that function. A year later, hidascan was 94%! Had another last month and is 38% with mild enterogastric reflux. All u/s, ct scans, mercy, blood work has been negative. Still wonder if it could be gallbladder related, perhaps it goes through periods of being inflamed?? Anyone have anything similar and can relate?
That should say MRCP, not mercy!!
Pam you must get to know all you can re if your gall bladder is inflamed why that is. There is a great deal to see on the internet but a good gastro surgeon is essential. If you read my previous posts = if you have time you will see that I got rid of my cholesterol stones by dissolving them bar two but reducing the largest from 17mm
to 10mm but I stopped taking the course because of other reasons not that the Urso had any adverse effect on me. It took 6 months to get rid of some of the stones but to reduce my symptoms to zero....
I had an ultra sound which definitely confirmed the size of the cholesterol stones and approximately how many. Fresh lemon and olive oil flushes the gall bladder but many gastro surgeons are sceptical about that but in the old days that is what they did and may have also modified their diets. If you read my posts the Welsh who are canny take two teaspoons full of raw cider vinegar in the morning to protect the liver.
The well known VET George Rafferty in Gramtown - Scotland who made a television program long ago told me while we were drinking a coffee = "eat a cheese on biscuit because it'll protects the liver".
He was an excellent vet and also knew a great deal about the human body, there is no question about that!
I have no stones to flush
