Does anyone else suffer with bruising with fibromyalgia?

I have started finding bruises on my body not from falling or banging myself.

And I wondered if anyone else with fibro has the same problem?

Bruise so easily....  I reckon trying to roll over in my sleep I manage to bruise myself even....tsk tsk....  Your not on your own...

Hi kipper1959 Yes I too have bruising its not been through knocking my self. Bruising can occur when you have fibro. take care

Thank you I thought I was the only one.

My Doctor did not tell me this he just said I was what is known as a bruiser.

I will be seeing him this week and I will now put this to him.

Because we are so much less active in our 'situation'...  we begin to lose muscle tone.  Without muscle tone a person can normally bruise easier.  Hence as folk age they tend to bruise so much easier.   Pretty common sense stuff, and the doctor should be switched onto that fact.

Another side issue is folk on Meds can sometimes bruise easier. As do folk with Haemaphyllia (spellG?)
