Ok so I've had bubbly urine could it be from the valtrex that I have been taking for a few days? I also heard that herpes can lead to HIV/AIDS and that can be a sign of that or a chronic kidney disease? My doctor has tested me for stuff so I will be calling her tomorrow for results, I've had other symptoms of HIV to I'm ok with having herpes but if it's turning to HIV I'll go crazy
Um, herpes cannot turn into HIV. They're unrelated viruses. HSV2 can make you more susceptible to contracting HIV if you're exposed to the latter, but that is a very different matter to one virus turning into another! Bubbly urine is not a known symptom or side effect of herpes or the meds. Valtrex is well tolerated by most people. Keep up your water intake whilst on the meds.
Hsv2 cannot turn into HIV. You can only contract hiv if your exposed to it. Trust me in the beginning when I found out I had hsv I thought I was going to get hiv. And had so many hiv test, and I still do. They all come back negative. But you can ONLY get HIV if your exposed to it. Only someone who has HIV can give you HIV. Someone who has hsv2 and hsv1 cannot give you HIV.
