I noticed these bumps starting to pop up a couple days ago. They are kind of painful to the touch, but not otherwise. I have also had some urinary problems recently and shaved last week. I don't know what to do! I was just prescribed an antibiotic for a possible UTI. Could this have to do with that?
this looks VERY similar to what i had. mine turned out to be follcolitis. but i got mime swabbed to.rule out herpes. the only way to be sure
If you have shaved then they are what looks to be ingrown hairs. Which are painful, and can last from 1-2 weeks. I would not pick at it as it may cause a scar. However if they burn, itch then I would schd an appt. If I was you I would just leave it alone. But I would recommend a new razor. As ingrown hair can indicate the blade not being sharp enough to correctly remove hair to where it will grow back properly. A bad razor makes some hairs grow where it curls back so the hair is then trapped causing painful bumps as such.
