About a month ago my kidney stone was 1-2 mm. Today I had an ultrasound and it's now 0.7 x 0.3 x 0.7, which I believe translates to 7 mm!! Do they blast it when it's that size? I was afraid to go anywhere or do anything when I thought it was 2mm. Feeling panucky now knowing how quickly it got this big. I'm a wreck!
It may depend on you're doc, but most likely they will. Do you have a urologist? If not, definitely find one. My urologist also told me to religiously put lemon in my water. Citrate breaks stones down.
I'd heard that, so started drinking 30 oz of freshly squeezed lemonade per day and wound up eith horrible stomach problems. I'm so worried!!
Maybe just do lemon water. It's been enough for me so far, and I would see where too much would hurt a stomach because of the acidity.
If a urologist is recommending lemon water it's likely been proven to work. But cut back on the lemon and add water and ask the doc how much
