Bump on vagina lip? Got off birth control

So I’ve been having issues down there since September and I originally thought it was herpes. But I got tested a total of 3 times for herpes (and twice for everything else) because I was SO paranoid and everything has always come back negative. But I had unprotected sex right before I got tested the third time for herpes and now I’m thinking I have it all over again even with the negative blood test. I think its that or my birth control. But does birth control give you bumps on your vagina? Ive had 4 periods this month due to my birth control, and during the third period I got one bump that turned into what looked like an ulcer. This 4th time being on my period I got another bump in the similar spot, but it hasnt turned into an ulcer its just been a bump. It doesnt hurt to the touch, but if I mess with it a lot like press down hard on it it kind of hurts. I more so feel it around the area, not on the bump. So the area around it feels kinda painful though its not terrible. Idk if its the birth control doing this or not. But this bump hasnt gone away yet and its been a little over a week. I have to wait 2 more months to get retested for herpes so im kinda going crazy. Any thoughts?

By the way, that bump/ulcer looking one didnt have liquid or scab over. It just went away after my period was over.
Also forgot to mention Ive been off birth control for 10 days now, and when I got the ulcer looking bump I wasn’t taking the pills everyday more than every other day or every 2 days. But I’m in the process of getting off of birth control completely now and pretty much after day 2 or 3 of being off birth control thats when this new bump popped up

can you upload an image? and herpes would be extremely painful for your first outbreak. Sounds like cysts maybe? I would get them on BC and thats one of MANY reasons i stopped. I recently had my IUD removed and i was popping up with cysts on my face by my ears, my underarms and my vagina (only where hair grows though). Hormonal imbalances can cause a lot of issues

i cant it says its too large and i deleted the pictures :frowning: but i can try again later. But I mean when that ulcer looking thing showed up it did hurt. not initially but when it turned to an ulcer. and it hurt if pee got on it, that whole thing. it just didnt have any fluid and didnt heal the way herpes heals. it just went away 2 days after my period ended. it seems like these things only happen when my period comes and now ive noticed that when my pubic hair starts growing back stuff happens then too. shaving instantly makes it go away/feel better. so idk what this could be. im still just going to get tested again in 2 more months as 1 month has gone by already since i last got tested. i just hope it isnt herpes

have you searched through pictures on here? im sure you have… that should give you a good idea. i get them on my mouth and its very painful… i feel like they look pretty distinctive though.

I’ve driven myself crazy more than once thinking a bump or growth was herpes or warts… its a very stressful situation. i hope you can figure it out. IF it happens again i would get another picture just to be able to show your doctor in case its gone by the time you can get an appointment. good luck and feel free to reach out to me whenever.
