anyone?
can anyone help me out?
How long have the raised bumps been present? What you most likely have on the shaft of your penis is Fordyce Spots which are very common, or they may simply be sebaceous glands - what is naturally present on your penis may be getting irritated by something you do on a regular basis, even the use of a particular soap or shower gel, or not drying properly after a shower - or a combination of these and other factors.
Try to avoid contact with any form of body wash on your genitals - when showering wash everywhere else using soap / shower gel as normally would, do not apply any to your penis - finish your shower by using the warm, never hot running water to thoroughly rinse your penis and entire groin region.
When you dry, always make sure no moisture is left in the entire groin region, but particularly on your penis.
If you are not already using light cotton underwear try them, this may improve on what is currently going on during the day. You may need to try several types of underwear, from more loose fitting to a tighter fitting one until you find the ones that seem the best for you.
ok yeah i have been using just water for around 2 weeks now, it seems to not really be making a difference and the bumps keep spreading. also, my penis has been more scrunched up lately instead of hanging down throughout the day like it used to do. its like its always cold and doesnt ever feel relaxed as it should when flaccid. i dont know what this is about?
anyone know what this is? any ideas or thoughts?
No, the things I have specified you need to put in place from now onwards, permanently, this is the only way to combat skin irritation issues which is part of what you have going on.
Would you mention in your latest response about being cold and relaxed is something only a Urologist can check for you.
The only common explanation for this would be if you were doing strenuous exercise, at a gym for example, riding distances on a bike and the saddle was not set right, or regularly lifting heavy items at home or work - that kind of thing.
If you think the bumps are spreading get your doctor / GP to check these for you, or contact a sexual health service / GUM Clinic if you are in the UK
