Bumps on penis - little to no symptoms

ive had a few bumps appear closer to the top. they appear white in color and are smooth for the most part. i had a bit of burning a couple days ago after wearing some new and tighter under garments.

any thoughts on what this might be? ive attached a photo. im a bit anxious

It might be Herpes HSV1 or HSV1.
If you have Herpes your penis can become irritated to tight clothes and certain soaps etc
The burning feeling is very normal with Herpes
I will advise you to see a Dr ASAP for a swap and IGG & IGM blood test.
You should not have sex until you have the clear from the doctor and if you are Herpes positive by law you should disclose to current or future partners or you can risk getting sued.

Also if this is Herpes do not touch it as you can transfer the virus to your fingers / eyes and different part of the body. It is very contagious even when the symptoms go away. There is no cure for Herpes and condoms (will not ) stop the virus from spreading to your partner as it lives on the skin and in your nerve system.

Best of Luck

went to gp who said he doesnt think its anything and to monitor any growth but that it looks normal. the burning was ocurring because of clothing in combination with the hot weather as ive spent a lot of laborous hours outside lately.

hopefully the doc is right

hey this might be an bacteial infection ive had bumps like these for well over a year i was tested a few months after i noticed them the doc i went to told me if it was herpes the bumps would scab over and you would have a some pain typically if u notice them after 7days after having sex you might have an std but in my exp they just kinda appeared, if they are there for well over a month with no scabing over go see a dermotoligist she gave me a cream to place on there check my page out had the same ones kinda, she said these are “normal”

Tests can only confirm, GPs cannot confirm STDs by looking
Visual diagnosis are only guesses
Also herpes get triggered by heat you can google that.
You still need to inform current or future partners about this as this might be STD. Going to a GP is not enough you need to go to your GUM clinic and get tested

Hi Chris
Many people have mild herpes with no pain and many have classic herpes symptoms. Please join herpes group to hear that from infected people first hand. There are different types of herpes outbreak.
What test did your doctor do?
Have they did IGG blood test for HSV1 and 2?

Junior, as M.Karl says you need to get to a Sexual Health Service and get this sorted A/S/P, you are certainly not safe to be having sex with anyone with this …

Thank you Wee
Junior we all hope it is nothing serious but unfortunately only a test or a swap can confirm what you have. People still get misdiagnosed (unless a test is done) as many diseases share the same symptoms

White / Pink bumps may be
1)pimples caused by acne,
2)pearly penile papules,
3)Fordyce spots.
4)White spots can also be caused by some sexually transmitted diseases(STDs)which is always better to rule out first
5)Molluscum contagiosum
6)Lichen planus
The list can go on that is why is best to see someone professional from the GUM clinic and not a GP and hopefully it is nothing serious. Please update if possible

Junior 786.

I’ve recently had a similiar issue, Almost exact. I have a cpl bumps white ashy color kinda flattened and smooth however I have no pain or no discomfort only the appearance. I visited the Dr and told them to test for everything across the board as I wasn’t sure at all. Results in 2 days I will update. The Dr and suspected HPV specifically HPV2 and lab tech said HPV can be transmitted non sexually skin to skin and be dormant in the body for years. Hope this helps. If anyone has more info please share.

did you get your results back?

did you ever get your results back?
