Hi there, I got a bump on my penis shaft few months ago.Initially I thought that it is pimple and will go away with time but it is still there. I am scared. Can anybody please tell me that is it harmful?
Okay, in this location there are several very common causes of lumps and bumps - normally they would have developed to the point where an infection is present and you have to treat them as the surface skin becomes punctured or disrupted.
You could still have something like an ingrown hair, or a sebaceous cyst, or even, depending on your age, you may have Fordyce Spots developing and you just happen to have a cluster of them in the one small area.
Unfortunately, there is no way to 100% rule-out that this is not something to be concerned about - so if you need to put your mind at rest go see a medical professional …
