I've had this issue for the last year I would say. I've had sexual partners in the past, both protected and unprotected. I was tested regularly during these periods between partners and always have been negative. The only thing I wasnt tested for is herpes because they said its not needed since i didnt have blisters etc & also felt it wasnt herpes. I started with the GUM clinic & was sent home test kits. Had a conversation with GUM staff over the phone and explained my symptoms & was instructed to go to my GP
I've been to two GP's and they did not feel it was STI related & also felt it was not herpes after inspecting my glans.
I've tried Hyrdocortisone cream, Canestan cream & currently on Timodine cream which was prescribed from my GP - I am in the process of being referred to a dermatologist. I've tried changing my washing power, keeping the glans try, moistorising it etc but no luck.
Symptoms - Redness, small bumps in the same location for last 3months or so. My penis becomes irritated and red after masturbation/showers & sex (When I had sex about 3 months ago). I am uncircumsised and when I pull back my foreskin the foreskin appears red & inflammed. If I leave my penis alone for 2 weeks it returns to normal, but those bumps are still there but not as noticiable.
Its become really frustrating as Im lost on what it could be.
