I know there are a number of threads on here but thought i'd start another with my situation.
Basically i received unprotected oral sex and ever since my penis has been irritated and i have issues. This happened 5 months ago. everything was normal prior and no other changes soap etc.
I was drunk and remember it being quite rough so thought it could be trauma related?
The main issue is my penis is slightly blotchy when soft it comes and goes, however when erect it looks more inflamed and bumpy. It never looked liked this before.
My meatus now also seems to dip at the top of the urethra. Other problems include a more frequent need to pee, scrotum itches a bit more and my rectum also has some slight irritation.
I have been to the GUM clinic on 2 occasions and all tests are negative. In the UK so herpes and hpv are not standard tests. They have examined me and taken my concerns and on both occasions dismissed what i said. I also called the herpes helpline and they disregarded what i said. i guess because i have permanent symptoms.
i saw my GP who said not to worry and recommended steroid cream. Also tried Cream for a yeast infection.
I paid for a private test and 13 different stis and they were all negative apart from ureaplasma and gardernella? when i mentioned this to GP they disregarded this as the cause. I self prescribed doxycycline that didnt work. The test include urine test for herpes but no not very acurate. Its hard to know whether to pay for a blood test for herpes as could of had this from anywhere over the years, so wouldnt be definitive that this was the cause. No sores or blister as per standard herpes.
I have an appointment with a dermatologist booked in but looking on here im not hopeful.
Any comments or input welcome.
The photo looks very normal - you have gone to quite extraordinary lengths to have this checked.

thank you so much for you comment. I am desperate to find out what this is. My concern is it didn’t look like this before and it is uncomfortable and irritated most of the time. It was not like this before so unsure how or why this has changed so much?

will do. If you have any idea what would cause this in the meantime that would be great. I mean it has 100% come from
receiving oral sex but like i said had a number of tests but negative. No tests for HPV and HSV (apart from urine) so could be them, but from the medical people they say it wouldnt be either based on symptoms and looking at it. Have to take their word but not convinced. Only other theory is trauma as fairly rough.
I have not seen a dermatologist as of yet but wanted to give an update. Ive had pain in my rectum and looser stools since this happened. i put it down to over wiping.
I’ve tried looking at my rectum
in the mirror and a couple of small cuts. I’m obviously going to try and explore the herpes avenue as it could be this.
i didnt even consider anal herpes as only received oral sex.
I’m struggling with how this will impact my life and really having a tough time coping. sorry guys no idea about my future now.

Cheers for the reply. Its a lot more bumpy and red since exposure. Been going on for 5 months and pretty sure it is herpes related, will confirm after i get to the clinic. Praying its not.
It would be rather unusual for oral sex to be the source of what you are experiencing.
What I would do is find the major sexual health or GU medicine service provider in the area or region in which you live. Phone them to see if you can get an in-person appointment.
A service such as this will have the largest number of different health professionals to call on to deal with what it is you have going on
booked in next week so will let you know how it goes.
in my opinion it has to be the oral received as all fine until then and now weird stuff going on.

So i have seen a dermatologist and spoken to another doctor from the GUM clinic and no update. Basically they cant see anything wrong.
I should be elated with this news but since my encounter things have changed on my penis and don’t know what to do. They told me to forget it and live my life.
Does any one have an explanation or theory i could use to help me do this?
My issue is i need to show the doctors my penis when erect as more visible with the change i see, but apparently this is frowned upon and what has gotten me in this predicament.
Another question, does the too of your meatus or urethra opening dip slightly at the top? like an indent. I dont recall this before and maybe split? im thinking trauma.
might i add i showed the docs a picture of my erect penis but apparently okay. Fine but why has it changed.
Also spoke to herpes helpline and they didnt think it sounded like herpes as more of a permanent change.
