I got bunion surgery and my second metatarsal shortened on the 1st of August so its been two weeks. I had a-lot of pain at first for maybe 3 days and then it wore off and it was just the cast that was uncomfy. Since yesterday i have been having shooting pains where my bunion used to be, i have also noticed that the middle and base of my second toe is numb, the tip near the nail isn’t.
Whenever i elevate my foot, its quite uncomfortable for me and makes my stitches tingle and my foot feel cold 
its having an affect on my sleep and mood, I’m taking ibuprofen for the horrible shooting pains but have an appointment for a dressing change on the 17th.
I just wonder if anyone else had experienced this and if there are any red flags!! Thank you
