Dear,
I have a question about some burning-like sensation in my mouth.
Around a year now I started feeling a burning like sensation on my tongue and at the top of my mouth just behind my front teeth. I saw doctor several times. At some point they thought it is GERD, but later also concluded that it is not the case. This burning sensation does not feel in my throat nor in the back of my mouth, neither I taste acid.
I think that I managed to isolate times when this sensation appears, which are: when I am more stressed; usually in mornings; and, reasonably often after lunch (eg, once in 3 lunches).
Is there lack of somethings (eg, a vitamin) or excess of something (eg, a hormon) that could result in these symptoms?
Among others, I also did the following tests and the results came out good: the level of my insulin, iron, Vitamin D, Vitamin B12, Calcium, Sodium, Potassium K (Serum).
I would appreciate any advise or opinion. Also, let me know in case I should ask this question in a different discussion group. Thank you.
