Hello fellow hippies!

I am 6 weeks out and have just experienced a burning type pain over my incision.

Anybody else?

I am 10 weeks out and definitley remember some burning pain around week 3, 4, it didnt last long though and went away

I remember being worried too, and people in here reassured me too : )

Hi Miele - I am almost 9 weeks post-op and still have this burning sensation around and underneath my scar ...started a couple of weeks ago - scar is closed and nicely healed though - upon touching it, it feels numb - it doesn't feel hot - some times it pounds and strabs too - but it is getting less, so I gues it is part of the healing .....

Mine has felt warm but now at 3 weeks it seems to have stopped that. I do get sharp prickles every now and then.

This is quite normal just everything knitting back together muscles etc, I'm 8 months down the line and it still burns now and again by no pain hurray 😃

Not really.  But, is your site red hot?? 

I know when the nerves regenerate you can feel odd types of pain. But, if it's discoloured or feels hot to the touch.  Go check with your Physician.

Hoping your pain is normal healing.
