Hi , I have been suffering over the last few months with this problem , that if I have been on my feet for a couple of hours or just gone for a short walk, that the underneath of my heels are very painful and sore . I have tried insoles in my shoes but they haven't worked. I have seen a podiatrist who states he wants a second opinion from the physio as I have 3 lower lumbar degenerated discs and sciatica. As anyone else suffered from this as I would like some advice.
You need too see a specialist who will do blood tests and other tests too find out what's going

I have occasional pain in right heel when walking. I resolve it by using an Emory board on my heel after showering, then rubbing in body lotion. The pain then disappears.
Hello there I'm new to the site, I've been prescribed amatriptyline 10mg for a burning/numbing/ disabling pain in both my feet I've had lots of blood tests an X-ray plus recently a nerve conduction test, for a possible tarsal tunnel diagnosis, witch I am awaiting results, The pain is worse when I'm at work placing pressure on my feet!! It's almost disabling very scary!! I'm scared I won't be able to work anymore! And these tablets are not exactly making me feel great! I'm worried for my future, and not sure weather to carry on with the amitriptyline or not. Will it be a cure or just a pain reliever!!! So Will I end up on it forever, if no cure is found for my burning feet, would like to talk to someone who has same problems?! Thank you :-)
Hello,have you been to a podiatrist? Also some proper insoles can be recommended to help you walk a bit better. I am having some after he said that I was walking incorrectly on my feet and that the pressure was giving me the pain.you couldn't tell to look at me but apparently the smallest disalignment can give loads of pain.
Yes Belinda unfortunately I have been through all of that, insoles from podiatrist and injections into the heel both with no affect I'm now being dealt with through the MSKAT unit!! Recently had a nerve conduction study!! Am been put on amitriptyline Which after last think I'm going to have stop, was having insomnia and my heart was racing all night and could not sleep the whole night!!! It's really not agreeing with me! It was my 14th pill I took last night!!! At 10mg
