Hello, after a very challenging year last year I finally seem to be on track with no pain and more energy. Iv been on Hydroxychloroquine since last summer and Biologics since February, I'm feeling well regarding the pain however for the last 3 weeks iv had a patch on my left lower side that's burning, it feels as though iv been sunburnt and only in that one place. I went to the doctors who gave me some ointment and suggested it may be Shingles, today, I returned seeing another doctor as its really burning and he suggests iv pulled myself, which I know I havnt as it's not pain it's a burning on my skin. Has anyone else experienced anything like this could it be anything to do with the medication? Xx
Go to a&e if it doesn’t clear up. To be honest after hearing from a rheumatologist that we are all part of a huge experiment, don’t mess around.
I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis over a year ago.. and recently told I have Ankylosing Spondylitis and perifial arthritis.. I don’t know anymore.. I’ve gone off my medication as I need a break cos I constantly feel sick…i have had that burning of the skin down my lower back it’s horrendous but the doctor just makes me feel like I’m a hypochondriac. I really don’t know what to do as I’m now waiting for my medication to be delivered so I can inject my legs every fortnight..feel like just stopping all meds as I’m not convince with my prognosis.
