had a burning throat for the past 6 weeks..had acid reducing tablets from the doctors but they havnt work..has anyone else had this and how did they cope...
Aciphex 20mg is good for the burning...only one that has helped me.
never heard of this one..are you in the UK.. tired two different ones from the doctors and both didn't work and really upset my tummy..so fed up with it..
Dr gave me omeprazole, it worked but gave me intense anxiety feeling so had to stop it. Now looking for a different med, have been told that zantac may help, my mother took it for 20 years and helped her.
ya docter gave me omeprazole upset my tummy loads..did you get zactac from the docter..eating all good foods and cut out all fats but it's not made any difference. making me so depressed..

Aciphex is name brand Rabepazole is the Generic......I tried all kinds this is the only one that stopped the burning I know what you are going through its ruff hang on took me a long time to get relief, I had to eat only soft stuff for a while like jello solid food made burning worse.
Was prescribed omeprazole and took a pepsid late day! Strict diet! Water and massages! Took 2 months to work! Feeling good! Ate something the other nite and was burning! My teeth even hurt! Back on the diet! Good luck!

I've got a burning throat to and Gullet it's so sore I don't know what to do I've se n my GP he's sending me to see gastro doctor I'm on ppi meds that don't work any more what are you using to sooth the sore throats
