This is pretty embarrasing to talk about with my Dr., but I'm planning to during my upcoming appointment.
I am a virgin, my fiance and I are getting married in September and we decided to save sexual intercourse for marriage. But sometimes we do stimulate eachother in different ways, and after I orgasm I experience a very painful burning (worse than the UTI that I had at one point when I was little). I've had this pain triggered by dyhidration and orgasming my whole life. Just recently its gotten much worse.
I take detrol la 4mg and it helps. I went through an ordeal with this pain when I was 14, but I never told anyone orgasming was a trigger, I thought I was a freak! With the limited information I gave the Drs and my parents, they were able to figure out the Detrol helped. It was dehibilitating pain and I missed almost a semester of school.
I've never found anyone who has had any related experience or any logical diognosis for this condition...has anyone ever heard of anything like this??
Hi katherine, is it possible that the stimulation your using is actually irritating your uthretha opening or giving you UTI s. Does the burning pain continue after wards when you wee or only after stimulation? Maybe you just need some form of lubrication? I have read of pregnant women saying orgasms give them mild contractions as well.
Sue
Thanks so much for replying!
It could easily be that, most of the time the pain is only after going to the bathroom, but when it is really bad it can start hurting at any time of the day! The Detrol LA helps, but I'm so worried it will get worse after I'm married. I will definantly use lots of lubrication because if it is just irritating the uthretha opening, that would help a lot!
Katherine93, u are not alone in this darlin...i have had the same issue my entire life far as i remember and im 36...my dr gave me specific instructions after an orgasm whether thru sexual intercourse or other stimulation to make sure to go straight to the restroom and urinate..whether i need to not, make myself go even just a small tinkle and it would help..i have endometriosis, A disorder in which tissue that normally lines the uterus grows outside the uterus, and constantly got a UTIs, Bladder Infections and Kidney Infections just from having an orgasm or getting too dehydrated..and honest it has helped...tho i still experience it too often the pain has decreased alot..you may need to be checked for endometriosis too...but there is nothing you should be ashamed to talk to you dr about...also the ASO UTI pain relief pills help too...keep me posted..
