I am wondering if anyone is taking buspirone for general anxiety. I've been prescribed 5mg twice a day. I've heard it could cause insomnia. I'm worried about that. My doctor told me to take it early in the morning and second dose in the afternoon. I've been suffering with insomnia for 6 months. I'm trying to quit taking sleep meds. Please share any info you have about the buspirone. Thanks.
I take 7.5 mg twice a day and I sleep alright. See how it works for you.
