Butterflies in my stomach

Hi everyone

I’ve been taking citalopram for a total of 5 months now for anxiety and depression. I’ve been doing quite well on it and it has helped me a lot, I’m not 100% where I want to be but much better than I was. However, the past week or so I’ve noticed I’ve started getting butterflies in my stomach again...they used to be awful but calmed down a lot since I adjusted on citalopram. Has anyone else experienced this? I have a worry at the back of my mind that this means anxiety may be creeping back in again but I’m hoping it’s just a bit of a blip.

No butterflies. But it’s definitely a blip. I get anxiety sometimes in the morning. I get myself up and walk. It helps tremendously. I’m on 10mg for 6 months. Cut caffeine out.

Will 😎

Thanks. I’ve completely cut out caffeine. I guess it is a blip, my moods been up and down and I don’t know why I’m feeling more anxious again. It’s just frustrating as I’ve been doing so well.

And you will start to do well again. It's frustrating, all the ups and downs. But you will level out again.
