Buzziness/Noise in low light

Recently I went to a friends place to hang and have some drinks. He had one of those light projectors that shoot lights onto the wall, it was placed on a table. We danced, talked and stared at the lights for hours. Now, everything I look at is buzzing. I don't think it's visual snow as there's no actual form to it unless I concentrate really hard for awhile then I might be able to see some form. I'm really concerned as I can't really focus on anything. In a pitch black room where there's little light, that area would be most obvious. I can't concentrate on anything because even if I'm looking at something bright my peripherals are buzzing. There's constant movement in still things.

I'm not sure what caused this but I'm guessing it was those lights maybe it hit my eyes a few times, we were at it for hours. I'm not sure if I should see an optician or an eye specialist. If anyone has any advice, I'd really appreciate it.

When you speak of buzzing, are you talking about hearing the buzzing?  Perhaps you should speak to your GP

If you are seeing flashing lights or similar, then go to your local Optometrist first and if s/he finds anything that he thinks should be investigated further, he can refer you to the eye clinic at your local hospital.

Dryness can cause that...

It's hard to describe. It's like evrything is vibrating, it's everywhere but harder to see in colourful backgrounds or things with patterns like curtains and such. It is most obvious in a dark room/dark backgrounds. I guess it's like a million ants walking but there's no colour, it's transparent and they're very tiny. So there's no form, it just looks like things are vibrating.

I ended going to the eye hospital which they did 3 tests. Can't recall the first but the second was retina and third was nerve. The doctors found nothing and was leaning towards floaters but I know it's not that because the symptoms don't match.

It's quite bad when I'm sleeping, sometimes when I close my eyes I see white smoke like shapes passing through, yesterday when I woke up and tried to go back to sleep I saw small bubbles everywhere. It's really hard to do anything like this, even sleep.
