My boyfriend and I does not have a problem when he withdraws his semen from mine. Until the day came he lets his semen penetrate inside me coz' we are trying to concieve. From that moment I had unwantd dscharges and had foul odor during sex. So I consulted an ob-gyne, and found out i had bv. So my ob gave me metronidazole and co amoxiclav. I am confident enough that my bv is gone so aftr one month, i had an intercourse with my boyfriend. And then... My bv is back! I am confuse because as i am reading different forums many said that Semen cannot cause bv. But in my case bv is back aftr hving sex with my boyfriend! Any suggestions? Im so depressed right now. I dont even want to see my boyfriend coz im afriad and im taking medication again from my ob. Dont like to take medication all the time. Please help
Medication alone doesn't work in my experience, it's often recurring, especially after sex, there are a couple home remedies you could try that are inexpensive though, such as garlic cloves (or Allicin capsules), Apple cider vinegar as well as probiotics (you can get critical care ones with lots of live cuktures), I'm dealing with this right now too, my cloth smells like cat food, so I've been taking vinegar baths and taking probiotics 3 times a day... kind of helping but it's still there

By the way: to tell u honestly, 3 wks aftr taking the medication, i had sex with another guy and there is no foul odor or bad smell aftr it.. Totally! No stinky odor.
On dec 26. I had sex w my boyfriend thats the time were the bad smell came back!!! Im so confused !!! this make me sad.
