Hi ladies! First I have to say how happy I am to find a site like this... It's extremely embarrassing to talk to your friends or anyone about this if they do not struggle with this awful condition!
SO, Last month I was told that I have BV. I went to the dr because of the smell, discharge, and uncomfortable feeling that wouldn't go away.. I was presribed antibiotics and like magic it went away..
NOW.. a month later, I have had a new sex partner. The conditions came back..BUT WORSE. I still have the itching, and unpleasent odor..BUT now I have red blister like bumps down there and inside of me...could it be BV again? Or herpes? I'm really freaked out- I keep reading that herpes could be mistaken for BV..I am going to the dr again tomorrow... I just want to know..
Has anyone else had these bumps/blisters that itch really bad? It hurts to use the restroom and it's so uncomfortable I can hardly sit down... Any feedback would help.. thank you...
Can't say I've ever heard or read that specific symptom associated with BV. But for infections in general, abscesses are common and could appear in that manner....it's possible this is a really bad infection and your body is in the 0.000001% that had an inflammatory response that included blisters. I would go back to the gynocololigist to be safe and figure out for sure what is going on. I know that sone people with bv do experience some blistering but you cant be sure without getting it checked
You do need to go back to your gyno to be sure but I have had experienced symptoms like that before. Good Luck!

Your welcome. I would apply femine itch relief cream often. I carried it with me everywhere. It releives the itch, pain and discomfort for a bit you just have to reapply as needed. I hope that helps you out! All of us on here know exactly how you feel and what your going thru. Just hang in there and things will get better.
