ive been having some problems down there and at first i was told i had a yeast infection i took flucanzole and it didnt work so i took another dose,still nothing my doctor told me i have a slight UTI but i have irritation on my vagina lips and a little redness with discharge never had irritation with a uti or discharge im starting to think i have BV which my doctor didnt test me for. My question is can you have BV without the foul fishy smell?

i had some pink spotting it was irritation of the cervix i also had some bleeding 2 weeks after my period i think i was bleeding for about 4 days for 3 cycles which hasnt happend again since
the pink spotting i got 5 days after my period had stopped
u can sometimes have a bleed due to ovulatuin it occurs about 14 days after a period if ur cycles 28 days doctor said that was normal and thats why i was bleeding at around 2 weeks after my period

iv tried most home remedies like natural yogurt changing bath products changing from tampons to pads chaning from thongs to cotton pants none of them worked for me the only thing that got rid of mine was antibiotic vaginal cream and that was after taking metronidiazole every month which never got rid of it i also tried over the counter gels and pessarys and they didnt do nothing but make it worse i guess everyones different as the gels an pessarys have worked for others
when you had BV did it hurt after sex? like a burning after intercourse?
i did at first but it went away i think i left it to long before i treated it and then i got pain on intercourse and weird cervix ache and also i had one sided ovary pain i ended up gettin pelvic inflammatory disease from it and had to take more antibiotics which took most the symptoms away but left the fish smell still so i had to have the internal cream
the forst symptoms ingot was burning inside the vagina and also my vaginal lips was itchy and also round the entrance to vagina i thought was yeast at first so kept treating for that then i got the god aweful smell and it got consideranly worse after that
i took metronidiazole every month for around 5, months which got rid of most of the symptoms but the smell…i then went on to try the pessarys and gels which made the smell 10 times worse than it did to start with so i went back and got the vaginal cream iv been bv free for 2 months almost now
