hi james
definitely not bxo doesnt look like anything serious
Thank you for the reply i am pretty scared i will attach some more pictures i have been checked by 2 doctors urlologist and nobody can pinpoint me what this looks like
It is potentially possible that you are in the early stages of a severe skin condition such as lichen sclerosis - the best thing you can do is monitor this closely every 3 to 5 weeks to see if it develops further.
In terms of medical professionals, you may need to see a Dermatologist that is familiar with Genital Skin Disorders for a future accurate diagnosis …
Are you sure? Ive been to a urlologist that know about lichen srcrelosis and he said this is not the case but i still dont belive him i have been monitor this for 6 months now and no big changes have happened
when my glans is erect than the white spots are not visible just a little but when flacid after erection then they are the most visible. i will send some more photos the first photo is flacid the others are when erect
We talked 6 months back about the same issue in this discussion if you can remember Is this lichen screlosus or something else? PLEASE HELP - Men's health - Patient Communities
in this time i have seen an urlologist in my country that didn’t give me much information he just said that is not LS but he did not know what this might be and i still think this might be LS and i also have some redness at the top of my glans and as you can see in the link i have posted here and nobody gave me any cream or something for this redness and no info why the redness is there
As I said, then, I think the only medical professional to get at what you have going on is a Dermatologist that deals with Genital Skin Disorders. To confirm the presence of a skin condition a Biopsy would need to be conducted.
Redness is caused by something that is irritating the skin that you have contact with on a regular basis - this can be anything from soap and shower gel and any other form of body wash, a fungal / yeast infection, bacterial infection that you contact during unprotected penetrative sex.
The problem is redness from irritation can be causes by anything that is in regular contact with penile skin - this is why cleaning with water only is a basic starting point to regularly clean the penis with, after that, it is about preventing as far as possible anything that may have an irritating impact on the sensitive skin on the head / glans and foreskin of the penis …
so how are you now ? any update ?
did you get all the std tests done?
i have the same issue discoloration on glans from 1 year. what i have learned after many researches is that if there is no change in texture then it is not LS. I went to many dermatlogists and no one knew what is this. please if you have any updates let us know
If you get no response start a New Discussion would be my suggestion
Hi man, I am 22 and a few months ago I noticed the same white patches on my glans when my penis is not erected, and it desapears when I have an erection, I haven’t visited a health professional and there is not enough information of this condition out there, but definitely is not a STI. Please let me know if you find something or you got diagnosed
any update?
I have the same thing for over two years and no idea what it is
Any update?
