I had the specialized ultrasound and it showed calcified tendinitis in both shoulders. Not a lot but the pain is almost unbearable and getting worse. It runs down my arms to my hands and fingers. Getting dressed is a challenge, sleeping is difficult and I am not able to do many things. It could develop into frozen shoulder I'm told but my ultrasound showed no fusion as of a couple months ago. I've read on other forums that physio does nothing to help with pain from the calcification but can help guard against fusion. But not without a great deal of pain. Quite frankly I'm tired of pain. I've heard of a shock wave type therapy. Anyone heard of it? Or has anyone been through this?
Try the shock wave therapy. I have had it and it really helps.
now he pain is just a memory.

Thank-you so much for your reply. Now just to find a place I can get it done! So glad your pain is a memory
Happy to report that shockwave is amazing!! I only had 3 treatments because I broke my foot and could no longer drive. But one shoulder is pain free and the other is 70% better. It's now at a point that I can excercise it.
