Can an eye infection from bacteria go away by itself?

I went to a doctor and was diagnosed with an eye infection due to bacteria.

I was prescribed eye drops by prescription.

I am having insurance issues and may not be able to pick up the prescription.

If told you need eye drops then you need to get them. Eyes are very

Precious, you need to take great care of them.

Of course you will need the drops. If there is an issue with the insurance, just go and pick them up and pay for them. They will only cost a few pounds. I am self funding and always pay for my eye prescriptions. They are not very expensive, and even it they were. What is more important, your eyesight, or your purse.

Hi, J.W. Blue:  I would not take a chance on this infection going away by itself.

I strongy urge you to get the prescription, pay for it yourself, keep the receipts,

and then deal with the insurance company to get reimbursed.

Our eyes are too precious to take a chance on not properly treating an infection

in them.
