Can an opthalmologist tell if you have a brain tumour?

Hello

How certain can an opthalmologist be that you do not have a brain tumour?

I was told if you did, you would have intercranial pressure whih could be seen when looking at the back of the eye.

Thank you

There is an extremely  good chance that an ophthalmologist or optician can pick this up from the intercranial pressure effect on the eye,but if the tumour has only just begun it could be missed.     No examination can be 100% certain.     If you are concerned that you have a brain tumour you should consult your doctor.

Thank you x

Yea the test according to my dr that has just referred me to see an eye specialist said they will determine if any further testing is needed because they can usually tell by the look of the internal eye if there's something more going on and will schedule a ct/MRI if needed basically if they feel there's even a chance of something more they will schedule the appropriate tests following the eye exam
