My daughter had blood tests done 3weeks ago and the consultant said results would be back in a week and he would forward results to our GP well he hasn't so I phoned hospital and they said our consultant isn't in and wont be back for another 3week so he would get another consultant to write explaining about the results does that mean they have found something or jat so we don't have to wait for the results she's been ill since October so we are worried thanks
I had twelve blood tests done last September and have never had the results. My GP could not access them either. I assume that if no one has made a fuss there is nothing to worry about. I had a blood test recently where I should have had between 0 and 5 and it was 132. A fuss was made then immediately. I think if things look normal they then forget to do anything else.
your regular Dr can demand to see the results of the blood tests, even if they were done for a specialist, I would not be over worried as if there was an issue that needed to be dealt if immediatley and was overlooked, it could get very expensive and I mean legally, and most Dr's would not be so stupid.
