I have had an anxiety disorder for 5 1/2 years now but over the last couple of months have experienced occasional episodes of chills. They are horrible and make me feel really yucky and ill. They don’t occur all the time - I may go a couple of weeks without any but then will get hit with a random bout. I remember experiencing them a couple of times about a year ago but then I went months without any. They have come back recently.
I’m thinking they are probably related to anxiety/stress but does anyone else here experience this symptom? Not sure how to prevent them
Thank you.
Emma
I used to get them when younger. My Parents would say someone was walking over my Grave. These sensations were never taken serious in my time, all I can suggest is look on NHS CHOICES and see what it says. If you are still unhappy talk to your GP, although it seems only to happen every now and again, not frequent.

This is not one of my common symptoms when I'm having a bout of anxiety or panic, however it does happen sometimes. It's extremely unpleasant, the last time it happened I started visibly shaking like you would if you were extremely cold. It freaked me out and I calmed down after about 10 minutes.
