Hey im a 16 year old male with pretty bad anxiety and i want to know if they can cause lymph nodes popping up.
i have had blood test on both red and white cells and they always come back good. But i always worry about my health a lot and i mean a lot this causes me to not be able to sleep sometimes.
anyways i wont to know if it is my anxiety is causing lymph nodes come up because i found a new lymph node day after i was stressing about something else so i don’t know if it was stress or something else causing it will someone be able to help me?
Lymph Nodes normally swell up during infection. If you have a sore throat you may notice the nodes swollen and painful around your neck. This means your immune system is fighting the infection.
It has been said that people with stress/anxiety/depression are more prone to infections so indirectly the answer to your question could be yes.
Hi alex I always have my glands up its all tension my lovely, don't worry and don't let anxiety run your life xx
Both Walter and Emily are rights, to add to the mix your only 16 and your body is going through lots of changes physically and psychologically and it continues usually to around the age of 21, so you may find lymph nodes swelling, aches and pains in the arms, legs including cramps, lumps and bumps appearing, soreness in areas such as the arm pits... All sorts.
Its a good idea to know your body but also be aware that changes are ongoing, if it's an issue and something doesn't either settle or go just get it checked out.
