Hey guys, for the past few weeks I've been having panic attacks almost daily which stemed from the fear of my heart. Although this is still somewhat of an issue, I now have develop some weird symptoms that are making me feel anxious even when I am mentally not.
My muscles feel like they are buzzing/vibrating on the inside non stop. It gets worse when I am laying down and trying to go to sleep. My legs, back, chest etc. When I sleep on my chest the buzzing sometimes sets off a rush of adrenaline and panic. This buzzing makes me feel all jittery and shaky although I am not mentally anxious.
Could this be anxiety or something more? I've been to so many hospitals and to my doctor many times for various symptoms and can't seem to get a diagnosis for anything. These feelings are causing me much distress and I need some relief.
Hope someone replies to this . Anxieties awful wondering what's wrong . Glad you've had checks at hospital but still won't put mind at rest with amxiety. Hope somebody can help with buzzing etc. I've only had racing heart and restless legs at night but bananas of all things at night help restless leg syndrome (potassium) good luck❤️
Yes! Anxiety can definitely cause the buzzing and vibrating on the inside. I have had that a lot and it started in my 20s. I am now older but when I get anxious I can feel that but not as bad as it used to be. I have learned how to control it. But at least you know that you can live with it because I'm still alive in my 50s! LOL
just remember that any symptoms you get caused by anxiety cannot hurt you! It feels scary and weird but that is all it can do. So don't worry at all about that part. All anxiety originates in the brain so you have to keep that calm in order to reduce or get rid of symptoms.
anxiety can cause literally hundreds of symptoms most of which feel neurological like buzzing, tingling, I have thumping in my ear, Eye floaters, muscle twinges...all related to anxiety. All my test came out perfectly normal. Sometimes doctors don't even know what to do because it's not like a broken arm or you can actually see it, it's something only we can feel so that's why they just prescribed medication to calm people down. But that's just a Band-Aid.
to keep the brain calm down, I have found that listening to the YouTube meditations on anxiety to really help. The more you listen the more your brain believes them and I have really reduced all of my symptoms a lot by doing this.
another thing is never react with anxiety when you get symptoms because that will create more anxiety from the brain sending out more adrenaline. When you get a symptom don't try to fight it off but just calmly acknowledge it and then go about doing something else . If you have a negative or anxious thought, acknowledge that thought, then imagine it floating off into the sky and dissolving. Do this every time in eventually your brain will automatically get rid of the thought much faster.
Going for a walk or any other exercise releases the feel-good hormones in the brain that calms down our mind and body.
stay active and just do things you enjoy and also try to socialize because it takes your mind off of things.
if you can get a book called mindfulness it teaches us how to manage anxiety, negative thoughts etc.
when feeling anxious or a rapid heartbeat, breathe in deeply through your nose for about five seconds then breathe out through your lips like you're blowing out a candle for another 5 to06 seconds. Think of how the air feels coming in and going out. This is part of mindfulness training in the purpose of the breathing technique is to bring yourself to the present moment that way you're not thinking negative thoughts. Do this every time you have symptoms or feel anxious. Feel better soon!
absolutely! i couldn't sleep when i was going through this.
