it may be fungal thrush see a doctor to be sure and dont wash with soap if u are doing so …change to just water

most of the time there is no cause and they go away on there own its usually caused by fungal infections such as thrush or over washing the penis with soap or using lubricants if u use lubricants use a water based one as its not as harsh on the skin
I have the same on my glans (uncircumcised here) and they first appeared in my early thirties. They seem to be common and are usually nothing to worry about at all.
