Back in December I took Zoloft and had a bad reaction to it. Ever since then I haven’t been the same. I have a burning sensation in my scalp constantly, my neck and jaw are always tight, I’m sensitive to light and loud noise and I get terrible headaches. I also experience dp/dr but it’s not as severe as it was a few months ago. I just want to be back to my old self. My life has been nothing but hell and I’m trying my best to care for my husband and children.
I experience severe headaches they scare me a lot
Hi wildest dreams, I had the exact same thing 2 weeks ago 😩 I was very sleep deprived and sert blew my mind when a doctor prescribed me back to my original dose after some time off the drug. 2 weeks later I have not been right either. However I started citalopram last week and have shown improvements in many of those factors. My appetite has returned, dp/dr blew out some time last week (relief). Unfortunately I picked up a cold that I could have done without that stopped me sleeping and am still plagued with anxiety-inducing thoughts and sensations, when k can't sleep I am also far more susceptible to the chaos of my mind. However, I am recovering steadily. I have so far found citalopram to be far more tolerable than sert and even corrected some Zoloft induced symptoms. Headaches have been a near constant however and I'm keen for them to get lost soon. There are always other options but there's no substitute for r&r.

Yes of course I relate to this you are not alone it's all anxiety driven it is horrible and hard to tolerate family just don't get it I think you have to have had it to understand it I Ave had anxiety on and off for ages just carry on each day as best you can slowly basically it is exhaustion and mental fatigue it takes to time to go away and it is tuff but try to just potter on and gradually it goes
