I put a post on the dizziness forum About my symptoms and someone mentioned vestibular migraines. Can anyone who suffers from vestibular migraines clarify if these symptoms sound like it could be what I have? I read a little on it but can’t decide if my symptoms fit completely. Mainly because my dizziness comes and goes over the course of 7-10 days and then disappears. About three months ago I started to feel very dizzy around my period. It lasts around 7-10 days, comes and goes. I’m not so dizzy that I can’t stand or feel like the room is spinning, it’s more subtle than that but very uncomfortable and disturbing. I also feel extremely tired during these times. It then goes away mostly and returns around my period again. I’ve had iron and bloods taken and all are clear. I also suffer from migraine auras which are very unpredictable and occur often. I haven’t noticed a link between the two. I’ve seen a doctor and a neurologist (for my migraines) and neither seem worried about it but can’t tell me what the dizziness if from. It’s very upsetting not having a clear diagnosis or any idea on how to make it stop. i personally dont know if it is vestibular migraine but just thought id ask the people who actually suffer it. I’d love any help with this. Thank you

also do yours come and go for a week like mine? they seem so odd that it could last that long.
is it like one episode that causes rhe week long episode or is it more likely a migraine each day im dizzy? i find it very confusing
mine are now pretty much constant. my neurologist diagnosed mine. I also get visual disturbances and regularly lose sight for a short while.
I have tried every anti seizure drug , nothing worked for me. I cant take triptans so I’m pretty much helpless. my life is pointless now
i get this too do u get head pain and nausea along with the dizziness ?

I was diagnosed with vestibular migraines and my main symptom is the vertigo - the persistant feeling off balance as if i’ve had alcohol and my eyes not being able to focus on anything without feeling sick. I also get ringing in the ears. I rarely have any head pain with this.
I do also suffer with basilar migraine and hemiplegic migraine.
no i dont get a headache or nausea. just a dizzy feeling. does yours come and go for a week and coincide with when you get your period or is it random?
are you constantly dizzy or does it coem and go? do you take anything to help?
