Can Covid affect the muscles?

I hear so much that it causes cough and fever. I thought I heard that it could also affect the muscles. And sometimes even the nervous system. Wondering if anybody has heard of that

i believe so because i had corona & my nerves def were on some s**t espeically my legs & feet

For me personally…I have tested POSITIVE 3x…the muscle pain is real and the pain is EXCRUCIATING.
