Hi. I got tested about a month ago and It came back at .97 for genital herpes. Just got blood taken again today to retest and hoping for the best. I used protection with someone i was seeing but the condom broke. I haven’t seen him since September and that’s why i got tested. Anyway just curious curious this can mean a false positive. Thanks
Yes it can, that’s why they tell you to test again after an equivocal result because it can go either way, and sometimes even positives are false
Actually, there is also skin dandruff alone that will cause you to catch Herpes. I wish ppl would realize that. And that concerns me that the condom broke. But just having sex with someone with Herpes you are also susceptible to catching the disease by skin dandruff. Very scary but true. Please follow up with the test. It’s probably positive. I’m sorry, I know the devastation...but it gets better! I promise! God loves you and so do I!
