i have recentely been suffereing with alot of anxiety and the only time its not there is when i exercise i went on 4 runs today. is this a bad addiction because im not happy when im not doing it like people who do drugs.
In high school I also had this problem. Moderation is key or you're gonna burn yourself out bad and your body's gonna fall apart. Try to find other methods as well as exercise to cope with sadness. You don't have to stop exercising but don't go overboard with it. Make sure your taking rest days and listen to your body if it needs a break.
Exercise is great. You can also listen to audio meditations found on YouTube for anxiety, sleep, depression etc. they completely calm down my mind and body. Maybe a good idea to listen to them after you exercise or laydown to sleep. Just search for mindful meditation for anxiety. Many to choose from.
if your having a real hard time counseling is a good idea. It's not good to bottle up feelings and emotions regarding anxiety and it helps to vent to someone else who can help you manage it.
so you can exercise, listen to meditations, get counseling if it gets really bad. It's good to have more than one method of managing anxiety because they each contribute something different.
Hi exercise is good however anything which is used to the extreme and becomes an addiction is not.You are definitely being excessive with the running.Lessen it slowly everyday and find other ways to cope with how you are feeling.Try to find ways to relax as this is also a very effective tool for overcoming how you are feeling.
