Hello, last night i fell asleep in my swimming suit, not swimming at all by the way just hanging out before bed. I woke up on my stomach and went to urinate. As i was urinating, i noticed some redness underneath my glans. I got urine testes for STDs last week and they all came back negative. Now it just burns and is very uncomfortable. Is the bathing suit to blame? I can post a picture if necessary.
Hi Al, a picture clearly showing the redness would be really helpful. So the fact of what it was you were wearing at the time would not be the real issue, the essential would be is what you have due (or partly due) to some form of contact dermatitis.
The skin on and around the glans and foreskin of the penis can be very sensitive to any chemical that irritates it, so in terms of clothing the usual problem is washing powder used to wash clothes in, then other issues like a harmful chemical that has accidentally gotten on the clothing, or even an interaction with the dye used to colour the clothing is less likely.
You say you were tested for STD’s - did you have any blood tests done at the time? How recently were you sexually active? Was the sex unprotected and did you receive oral … ?
